PDF USA exists to amplify and protect the voices of all Professional Registrants of the National Dance Council of America. Our mission is simple: to ensure that every professional—whether they teach, compete, organize, judge, or officiate—is heard, valued, and represented with integrity.
Our board is made up of a diverse mix of Pro-Am competitors, teachers, organizers, officials, and judges. At first glance, that might sound like a contradiction—after all, each role experiences the dance world from a different angle. But that’s exactly our strength. The variety of expertise within our council gives us a panoramic understanding of the professional landscape. We understand and value all positions.
We recognize the challenges, ambitions, and passions that drive each sector of our NDCA community, and we use that collective insight to advocate for fair representation, progressive standards, and sustainable growth within the NDCA framework.

PDF strongly advocated for change, presenting documented examples of professional and Pro-Am events still taking place as late as 1:30 a.m. This effort resulted in the adoption of a new rule stipulating that no first round may commence after 1 a.m. without penalties.
It is bound to happen. Not every situation is perfect and sometimes you need someone to step up for you. The PDF will take your complaint to the NDCA, professionally and anonymously.
